Forward Planning

I'm trying to get the base of my autumn/winter wardrobe sorted out now, as come september I'll be a penniless student with barely enough money to buy food, nevermind clothes. So to focus my spending and make sure I buy things I can actually wear together, I've been browsing around the AW08 collections, and I've decided that this year I'm going to go for a Russian folklore hippy meets eccentric gothic english countryside gentleman look. Ahem yes.

That means I'll be looking for embroidery, dirndl skirts, lace, tweed, leather, fringing, (fake) fur, velvet, paisley prints, earthy colours, ribbons, wool tights and of course tartan.
These boots from Topshop would start things off nicely I think.
