Slight hypocrisy

Ahem, yes. So a few days ago I may have had this to say, and now I'm coming out with a post about pretty much the opposite. But then my parents have always said I'm a "contrairy little madam."

In an effort to further procrastinate from doing chores/finishing larger DIY projects, I've been making up some hair bows. The white floral one is made from some cheap flowery fabric I got off eBay and attached to a small barrette hair clip.
The larger one is actually made from the shawl that came with my prom dress, which I didn't use as it looked a bit cheap. I left it with a loop in the back so I can either pin it to my hair (top left) or slide it over a hairband (bottom right - the hairband is barely visible though). Then remembering this Style Bubble post, I tried it out on a belt too, and I think it looks quite good (despite my lazy sunbathing-and-reading-a-book-in-the-garden outfit.)
I can't wait to wear the pink one out, as I haven't had chance yet. Unfortunately the only place I've been going lately seems to be work, and hair bows and headsets don't mix unfortunately!

  1. Ahhhhh...those bows are so cute! I like the pink one...and I'll keep blogging in Sweden, but it might be more sporadic, because I'll be spending all my time trying to pronounce the word sju (seven). From what I learned so far, it sort of sounds like somebody clearing their throat or something. Embracing the culture baby....oh yeah.
