Tell me Topshop...

Topshop "Slubby" vests. Nice and all, but not worth £28.

  2. It's a mixture of 'slouchy' and 'grubby' . like a lounging item. (i used to work for Topshop) xx

  3. I vaguely remember in a textiles class that there is a slub weave... everything from school is kinda fuzzy though. :)

  4. Definitions of slub on the Web:

    * A thick, uneven nub in yarn for a textured effect.

Anthropologie was the first place where I saw the term. I'm figuring they used the word 'boucle' or something else prior to that?

  7. yeah, slub cotton is like an uneven looking weave, like in these pieces.
