Summer 2010 Festival Looks

Festival season is here once more, and although I personally won't be going to one myself for another three and a half months, I thought I'd get some festival posts in now. Here I've put together some different looks that I wouldn't mind wearing this summer.

Land Girl

Jack Wills cardigan, Boohoo shorts, Hunter wellies, Topshop hairband, APC satchel.
A 1940s land girl vibe. Think Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller in The Edge of Love. Chunky knit cardigans, culotte-style shorts, classic green wellies and scarf hair ties.

Rocker

House of Holland tights, Hunter wellies, Oasis shorts, Amplified t-shirt, Jennifer Behr hairband.
This is sort of Taylor Momsen inspired. Biker-style wellies, or even Doc Martens if you know it isn't going to be too muddy, Leather shorts (because it's probably not going to get too hot at a British festival at least..), cool legwear (real hold ups/suspenders would be amazing too), and oversized band t-shirts (I chose Guns n Roses because I'll be seeing them at Reading.) Oh, and cute-with-an-edge headwear. It's all about the hair accessories for me at the moment.

Preppy

Topshop shorts, Hunter wellies, River Island socks, Miss Selfridge hairband, Free People jumper.
I really want a cricket jumper for this summer, for a more British twist on the classic American preppy look. Tailored shorts, striped socks and a Gossip Girl headband to top it off.

What looks will you be wearing for festivals this summer? And which festivals is everyone going to?

Here's my guide to festival essentials from last year and my festival hair and beauty guide too.

I love my hunter boots, but I don't really want to wear them again this spring, I hate the rain..
