You may or may not know that I'm currently at university studying French and German. This year is my third, which means it's year abroad time! I'm splitting the year between France and Austria, and today I'm on the way down to Lyon where I'll be studying until January (this is a scheduled post!)
I think I'll have plenty of access to the internet (fingers crossed!), but it's going to take me a few days to get settled in to halls and sort all the admin out etc, so please bare with the fact that there will be a lull in posting for a while. I'm definitely not going to abandon the blog, but this year is going to be a year of very hard work as I need to both a) dramatically increase my fluency and b) pass exams as if I were a native speaker. it's all going to be very difficult at times, but hopefully lots of fun too.
I'll keep you updated on how it's going, and I'll hopefully have a new competition for you soon too, so that's an incentive to not abandon me!
Finally I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all of my readers and followers and commenters. It means so much that you read this blog, and that you seem to enjoy it so much. You guys are the best :)
Oh, and if anyone has any tips about Lyon, things to do, places to vist, shops etc then please let me know, either in a comment or tweet me or email firstname.lastname@example.org!
