Cuir sur cuir

Forget double denim, this is leather on leather (on leather, if you count the DMs).

I bought these shorts back in the summer from the Henry Holland for Debanhams range. They were on sale for £15 I think. They're not real leather, they're plastic-y fake leather, but I don't really mind. They were much cheaper than a real leather pair. This is actually the first time I've worn them. Not sure why I've neglected them until now, I'm a massive fan of shorts, as regular readers may have noticed.

I thought I'd keep them mostly covered up, so as not to shock the blandly-dressed residents of Lyon, so this new H&M shirt was perfect. It's really nice and silky feeling, with a nice oversized fit (I'm wearing a UK8 for reference). It has got a tendancy to go a bit static though, but maybe that's just the washing machine here in the résidence. I'm really feeling shirts buttoned all the way up to the top at the moment. If only I'd had the inclination back at school. Would have saved the teachers 5 years of the continuous, and ultimately pointless, requests for me to do up my top button and knot my tie right up to the neck.

The jacket is my Asos aviator jacket with the shearling collar removed.
