Resolutions

New Year's (Blogging and Style) Resolutions

1. Buy less new clothing
I spend far too much money on clothes, because I seem to be constantly buying new stuff. I'm resolving to cut down on this, and instead make the most of what is already in my wardrobe, which is fit to burst as it is. If I do decide I want something new, I'm going to try and find what I want in charity shops, or make it myself. My sewing machine has been sadly neglected of late.

2. Blog more regularly
I don't mean I'm going to try and blog every day, I don't have the time for that, but I'm going to try and come up with a schedule and stick to it. I'm also going to try and be less lazy about photographing my outfits so I can do more outfit posts. I got a remotefor my camera for Christmas, so that should help a lot.

3. Find my style
I got Luella's Guide To English Style for Christmas and it's made decide that 2011 is going to be the year I find and define my style. I wouldn't say I blindly follow trends, but it would be nice to feel a bit more comfortable in my own style, rather than floundering about trying to look "in".

4. Improve my photos
I'll admit that I'm one of those annoying people who has an expensive DSLR and uses it mainly on the automatic setting. This year I'm going to find time to learn how to properly use my camera, and hopefully my photos will improve as a result. I'm also going to try and take outfit photos in more interesting settings.

5. Reply to comments faster
It takes me ages to get around to reply to comments at the moment, which is terrible blogging etiquette. I must do better. Please know that each and every one of your comments means the world to me, I'm still surprised that people actually like reading my ramblings!
