Ti Amo

Apologies for being all "woe is me" in my last post. Yesterday I decided to give myself a good talking to, mainly deciding I need to get over myself. Sure I may not be the best student ever, I will never be thin or a total stunner and I don't have any direction in life, but things could be a lot worse. I slapped a ton of make-up on and whacked in my hair extensions, both of which always make me feel a bit better, and got on with it.
After a lazy day procrastinating from learning pronouns and Austrian 20th century history, I ended up going to see a play with my landlord last minute when his daughter was feeling too ill to go. It was a musical comedy about an Italian family in Vienna who get mixed up with both the Italian and Russian mafia(s?), and although I didn't understand every word, I got the general jist of it and found it quite funny. I do love a good cheesy musical (apart from Grease and The Sound of Music, I can take them or leave them. Not fussed.)

  9. I'm having a bit of an eurgh time at the minute, but that's just because I have exams in a week and after finishing my dissertation I have little to no motivation! Glad that you're feeling better. Although, I am sad to hear your lukewarm opinions on the Sound of Music- it's my favourite! And you're in Austria too! No skipping around in Salzburg for you then pretending you're in the Do-Re-Mi bit then!

  10. ahhh fritha whatever you were thinking yesterday must have been great because these photos are lovely, especially the skin and hair! definitely great lighting and focus for outfits. i think when it starts turning into summer we all have a panic about wearing less clothes and having to abandon black and tights and comfort clothes, but treat yourself to some really summery things and gathering new inspiration! i always love your season inspiration posts, i think you did a spring one but maybe a summer one is due? when i'm feeling blah and crap, i go on loada of tumblrs and see girls looking fab with just a hot lipstick and denim shorts, which kind of makes me review my wardrobe and makeup and think hmmm thing aren't so bad!xxx

  11. Woah there! Your snap out of it speech to yourself was harsh, Tai. Telling yourself how crap you are is no kind of way to cheer yourself up! Ice cream is the way to do that. Fact. x
