Summer breeze makes me feel fine

What I wore Today H! by Henry Holland dress, Asos leather jacket, Topshop brown sandals
H! by Henry Holland dress, Asos jacket, Topshop sandals

I realise a leather jacket and sandals together makes no sense, but it wasn't quite warm enough to go out without some kind of cover-up, and my jacket was hanging by the door so it was the first thing I grabbed when I went out!

Today is a "getting stuff done" day. I've been to the post office, collected train tickets, sent a load of important emails etcetc. Most of the emails were about the Midlands Blogger Meet that's happening in a couple of weeks time. It's all shaping up nicely and there are a few surprises to come!

It's been lovely and sunny today where I live, so I took the opportunity to put the roof down whilst I was driving around earlier. There's nothing better than driving along with the wind in your hair and the radio up loud on a summer's day!
Oh, it's my Mum's car by the way, I don't own my own convertible! It's only a little Mini too, nothing flash! (although it is gold... :| ) I have no need for my own car anyway, but if I did have one believe me it would be some ancient heap of junk no doubt! Just in case anyone thought I was bragging about being insanely rich and spoiled. I'm neither!

What are you all up to in the nice weather?

  6. That dress is great! I had a heap-of-junk car til even that got too expensive for me to run - a convertible sounds amazing but definitely a long wayt in the future for me too!

  7. I think that's the ugliest thing you've ever worn. That being said, you look very pretty. It's just an awful dress. Makes you look shorter and wider.

  9. Your hair is so, so, so, SO amazing! I think the jacket and sandals go very well together, actually. I'm loving the dress, too. It's very different to the usual maxi dresses we're seeing lately!

  10. I think this looks lovely, it makes you look statuesque. Ahh I am always jealous of people in convertibles in the summer time! Although when you see people on the motorway with their wind blowing all their hair in their face I am kind of glad I don't have one haha.
