Outfit with Motel Jordan jeans, Asos leather jacket, New Look sheer shirt
Asos jacket, New Look shirt, DIY ribbon bow, Motel trousers, Office shoes

This outfit with my beloved Motel jeans is slightly less of an assault on the eyes than my last post featuring them! Inspired by Claire's outfit for the Birmingham blogger meet night out I did a ribbon bow necktie thingymajig. It kept coming undone though!

I wore this outfit into Birmingham for a spot of shopping and to get my ears pierced. I got the fourth set in my lobes done, so now I have 6 or 10 piercings depending on how you look at it, including the four sets of lobes, then my tragus and rook both in my right ear. I did have the top of my left ear done too, but it never really healed properly and my left ear has gone a bit thicker than the other one, so I've taken that out and I'm letting it all heal up. I might get it done again in the future though. I want to get a snug piercing in my left ear next, but I don't think I'm going to get any more this year as I've had quite a lot in the past year and a bit and I don't want to stress out my body too much!

It's funny the amount of people who were muttering about these trousers as they walked past me. I don't know if people are just stupid and don't think I can hear them or if they're ok making comments about people they don't know loud enough for them to hear, Who knows? People are strange! The girl who served me in Eat and the shop assistants in Blue Banana where I got my piercings all complimented me on my outfit though, which was nice!

I have more to talk about, but I'll save that for another post to stop this being all TL;DR!

  2. Your outfit looks great, some people seriously need to lighten up! Those trousers are especially gorgeous. Motel seem to be doing really well as of late!

Ooo you sound just like one for my friends who has 4 lobe piercings on each ear and then a cartilage on her left ear. I've been toying with the idea of an industrial and/or a tragus piercing but I'm a bit put off by the amount of pain AFTER the piercing itself. Y'know, throughout the healing process itself. I have 3 lobe piercings on each ear and they weren't too much of a hassle to clean everyday and whatnot, but are piercings like the tragus annoying? Sorry for such a heavy comment!

Lovely blog btw, shall keep reading over the summer and stuff :) xx

  5. Pah, stuff the muttering people. I get that a lot because of my height - it's amazing what people feel confident/obnoxious enough to say right in front of you. Just be safe in the knowledge that you look fab m'dear, I only wish I could carry this off! x

  10. I love your outfit so don't worry about other people's rudeness, and the people who make nasty comments obviously don't have any sense of style and individuality! All that matters is the Blue Banana staff loved them and I'd take that as a huge compliment, I love Blue Banana! :) xx

  17. I didn't think there was an actual name for where I wanted my ear pierced and was going to just tell the people "a rook but further along". I've just had a look at google images for a snug piercing and it seems this would be it! But I still want mine sort of further up like this
