I'm not used to other people taking my picture (I'm a tripod and remote kind of blogger, not a photographer boyfriend one,) which is why I'm pulling such an uncomfortably cheesy grin face.

Field Day was loads of fun, despite the fact that I'd only heard of about five of the acts playing there. Highlights for me were Warpaint and The Coral. I've been wanting to see The Coral live for years now, and they didn't disappoint.
As well as the music, there was also a "village green" where loads of school sports day-esque games were going on. Here's a picture from the human pyramid race.
There were also blindfold sack races and a potato sweeping slalom amongst others.
All in all I'd definitely recommend Field Day. As a one day festival it's a bit more civilised than some others (although I am looking forward to Reading at the end of the month,) with good music, good food and a generally friendly, relaxed atmosphere. I'm planning on going again next year!
P.S. I have opened up a shop to sell jewellery and accessories and whatnot. I may also put up a few items of clothing from the old blogshop too. There are only a couple of things up at the moment, but go and have a look, and I'll be adding more soon. Watch this space!
