Evil eye jewellery and nails

Nail polish - all Models Own
Bracelet/Ring - eBay

This bracelet/ring thing was on my wishlist a couple of months ago and I finally got around to buying it. It was a bargain at just over £3. Then I saw these eye nails by Vicky from #Golly Gosh and had to have a go myself.

Eye jewellery is believed in many cultures to ward off the evil eye. One of my best friends comes from a Turkish background, and told me that if your jewellery breaks, it means it has done its job and stopped someone from doing harm to you. Hopefully no-one wants to do anything bad to me, as I'd like my bracelet to last for as long as possible!

  8. I really love the concept of an evil eye to protect you. I bought some evil eye stuff while I was in Turkey, and it's still all in one piece. Yay. The ring/bracelet (Ringlet?) looks amazing.

  13. I love the bracelet and your nails. Might give them a try but I have a feeling that when I'm done nobody will be able to tell it's supposed to be an evil eye with my shaky hands :) xx
