Day 9

I completely forgot to post yesterday, the weekend confused me and I thought I'd done challenge 8. I'm going to combine it with 10 and post it tomorrow. I'll try and do these every day and in the right order from then on!

9th. The item at the top of your wishlist.
I've got lots of things on my "attainable" wishlist at the moment, but one thing is standing out as the item I really wish I could own, and that's something I definitely can't afford.

I first saw this McQ dress on Chloe Moretz in pictures from one of the Dark Shadows premieres and immediately fell in love with it. Since then I feel like it's stalking me. I keep seeing it online and it's also featured in the new issue of Vogue. Along with its hefty £3555 price tag. Unfortunately this is definitely not a DIY-able dress, but I will be searching for other lovely (more affordable) burgundy velvet dress for A/W.
Chloe Moretz has also worn another McQ dress that I was (and still am) totally in love with. It feels a little bit unfair that a 15 year old gets to wear such amazing clothes :p I'm pretty sure I could make a reasonable copy of the tartan dress though. It's been on my to-do list for a while now!

  1. That dress is beautiful. I'm 17 and trying to make Primark look decent, how is she wearing such hefty price tags?!

  2. That dress is absolutely stunning. The velvet, that rich colour, the detail...drool. Definitely unfair that a 15-year-old gets to wear that and I don't.
