This month for Take 10, we were sent t-shirts from different Uniqlo designer collaborations and challenged to style them around the theme "Best of British".
I received this Laura Ashley t-shirt, and whilst it's perfectly lovely, it really isn't my style, so I did struggle quite a bit. In the end I decided to amp up the twee-ness of the floral pattern by pairing the t-shirt with a similarly pink and flowery skirt, and then add a classic British tweed blazer (be it one from Spanish chain Zara...) and leather brogue boots, finished off with schoolgirl ruffled lace socks.
For some extra "Britishness" I pinned some cute garden bird badges from Crown and Glory and my "Where there is tea there is hope" Union Jack badge on too.
Uniqlo also tasked us all to create a Pinterest board showing the inspiration behind our styling, and you can see mine and the other ladies' here.
Finally, don't forget to visit the other Take 10 bloggers and check out their Best of British outfits!
